The moment that became a song
A memory from Baker Street
Many years ago, outside Baker Street station, I stopped to listen to an elderly busker singing a Christmas song. Amid the rush of shoppers, his voice held such bitterness and sadness that the moment stayed with me—and eventually became this song. Today, we’re sharing it to remember the people Christmas can leave behind, especially those facing homelessness, and to encourage support for Crisis at Christmas.
