Make a friendship film
A welcoming gesture, an unexpected shared interest, or a story told without words—students could show what friendship means to them. Around 30–90 seconds is a useful starting point, rather than a limit. VATW would be delighted to receive any of these clips for possible inclusion in the videos we release, including the final project song and video.
Connect with another school
How about a joint international friendship video? Schools could exchange filmed questions, continue each other’s stories or create a shared musical greeting. VATW would be happy to help connect schools taking part in the project. Teachers can contact Laurie about a school connection, mentioning their school, country and student age range.
Permissions before sharing
Please obtain parental or carer permission for every identifiable student before sending footage. Make clear whether it will be shared with participating schools, including overseas, or may be edited into public VATW video releases on our website and YouTube. Permission must cover the intended use; the guide explains the options.
